We have a lot of exciting news to catch-up on so let’s dive right in!

First, a new fence has been erected in front of the Glass House which means work is underway on what will become the newest apartment building in Riverfront Park. As we highlighted in a previous post, the AMLI Green is slated to break ground this summer. Last we heard, the seven-story apartment building will include 304 dwelling units and approximately 358 parking spaces. Although traffic in the area may be stifled during construction, the AMLI Green will be a welcomed addition over the vacant, derelict plot of land as it sits currently.

Real estate in Denver’s favorite hi-rise, the Glass House, is kicking into high gear with six new sales in the month of May bringing the total number of units sold in the Glass House year-to-date to 13. This past month also saw the successful closing of the highly sought after affordable housing unit in Park Place Lofts which we covered on our blog earlier this year. Below is a recap of this year’s sales with a breakdown of May’s closings:

As of this writing there are seven units Under Contract in Riverfront Park, five of which are in the Glass House. Also Under Contract is a beautiful 3,200 SF condo in the Promenade Lofts. Overlooking the plaza and the Millennium Bridge, the home was listed for $1,600,000 – stay tuned for the final sale price. 

Currently there are 38 residences available in the neighborhood garnering envy at all price levels. From a cozy 758 square foot, one bedroom condo in the Glass House priced at $375,000 to the lavish 4,753 square foot penthouse atop Park Place Lofts, there is something for nearly everyone. With each passing day Riverfront Park and Union Station inch closer to 100% buildout. It’s been fun watching the neighborhood develop and as buildings reach final completion, the neighborhood continues to welcome new neighbors, businesses and restaurants.
