LoHi Holiday Lighting Celebration 11.28.2015

2015 Holiday Lighting Ceremony

When:  Saturday, November 28, 2015 @ 5:30 PM

Where:  Little Man Ice Cream

Get ready Riverfront Park and LoHi Residents because before you can say “Turkey Leftovers” it will be time for us to kick off our Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration.

This is a chance for everyone in the neighborhood to meet and enjoy a festive community event. The tree lighting celebration will feature hay rides, traditional caroling and music led by The Music Train.  Clydesdale horses and photo opportunities with Santa Claus and his reindeer will also be happening so make sure to bring your little ones.

The LoHi Holiday Lighting Ceremony will also feature free food, hot cider with chestnuts roasting on an open fire (we can’t help sing that line as we type it).  Little man will also be kicking off their Christmas tree sales earlier that week starting on November 21st in case you want to pick one up while enjoying the activities.

PLUS – LoHi merchants are participating in the “Green Light a Vet” in support of our veterans this Holiday Season and Little Man Ice Cream continues their tradition of fighting hunger through their “Scoop for Scoop” initiative.  For every scoop of ice cream Little Man Ice Cream sells, one scoop of rice is donated to villages in developing countries.  Donations have been made in Ethiopia, Kenya, Myanmar, Senegal, Haiti and Peru.  Most recently Little Man Ice Cream donated over 22,000 pounds of rice and 400 pairs of shoes in communities in Cambodia.

It’s the season of giving.  All of us at LIV Sotheby’s and Milehimodern wish you the very best this Thanksgiving and hope you’ll come out to enjoy this Riverfront Park and LoHi celebration.  Meet your neighbors and enjoy a special and fun Holiday event.
