Before taking a look at August’s production, let’s quickly jump back and recap activity from July. Last month Riverfront Park closed twelve transactions. In terms of volume, July was the neighborhood’s most successful month to date; however, it’s important to note that in the current market landscape, a majority of the transactions have an escrow period ranging from 30 to 45 days. Of the twelve units sold in July, ten went under contract in either May or June. So why are these statistics important?
Historically, the spring selling season draws to a close in the latter half of June as individuals embark on their summer travel. As a result, the market slows while the population enjoys the summer sunshine. August’s production is a direct result of July’s slowdown.
Last month only five residences sold in Riverfront Park including a beautiful unit on the 22nd floor of the Glass House which sold for $1,000,000. Below is a recap of the Big Board and a closer review of each unit:
In the past two weeks nine new units have come to market in Riverfront Park and seven have gone under contract. Today, there are 37 units available in Riverfront Park ranging from $3,995,000 to $330,000. To view the current inventory, click here.
